The Institute for Business Ethics (University of St. Gallen) and the European Institute for Advanced Studies in Management are holding their first Joint Workshop on Business Ethics this year, November 10-11, in Brussels, Belgium.
The first workshop deals mainly with recent developments in business ethics in the post-crisis world in research and practice. The research workshop will address:
– Corporate Social Responsibility and Globalization

– Corporate Governance and Business Ethics
(Chairperson: Martin Hilb, University of St. Gallen)
– Global Governance and Ethics
(Chairperson: Klaus M. Leisinger, University of Basel / Novartis Foundation for Sustainable Development)
– Business Ethics and Human Rights
(Chairperson: Florian Wettstein, University of St. Gallen)
We invite papers that explore business ethics issues from both theoretical and practical perspectives. To present a paper authors should submit a two-page abstract by May 15, 2011. All submissions must be in English.

We are happy to announce that the “European Journal of International Management” intends to publish a special edition including the best papers presented at this research workshop and at the “8th Workshop on Corporate Governance” (May 30-31, 2011). The papers will be selected by the Chairpersons.
